Kevin Jermyn

"I do announcing and broadcasting all over the country, and Hayden is one of the best commentators I have ever worked with. He does extensive research, and is remarkably in-tune with the sport. I always look forward to watching events where he's on the mic, and working meets where we get to share the booth.

Trevor Fulkerson

Track Broadcaster

“Hayden is a great commentator to work with. He’s communicative leading up to an event and prepares well for each show, sometimes on short notice. While working as an announcer, he is able to get in-depth with coverage and express his knowledge and expertise on track in a conversational manner, helping the audience care more deeply about the sport. He’s also a pleasure to work with!”

Don Cardona

Former Producer - FloSports, ESPN, NBC Sports

As a long time pro- I watch a lot of track and have heard many announcers. Hayden is one of the best. His announcing is engaging and entertaining. You can hear the excitement in his voice increase as the tension in the race builds. This happens whether it is a world standard paced race or a local high school meet. That’s because he does the work to know the athletes. As a former athlete and now coach, he knows what goes into stepping on that starting line and he makes the calls with just as much heart as the athletes racing. Aside from the enthusiasm, he also knows his stuff. He’s a student of the sport, he knows the athlete’s accolades and a lot of the times their backstories too. I’d have him call my race any day.

ABOUT HAYDEN

Hayden has announced and broadcasted some of the best meets in the United States. He combines a decade of experience as one of America's rising stars in coaching with an infectious excitement for the sport - at all levels, for every event.

"Calling a meet is the most exciting thing I do. While I love coaching, there's always the nerves of how my athlete will perform and bad days happen to everyone. But on the mic, I get to win every event and make every athlete feel special. For me, it starts with meticulously researching entries so I can set the stage and tell the story as it unfolds. Then when the competition starts, I get to root for every athlete as I highlight the marks, call the moves, and build the drama until one athlete inevitably earns their shining moment. There's no feeling quite like it."
